Discord Chess

Starting a game

/chess play
An open board anyone can move on. Add opponent to challenge someone, anyone: True to take a seat and let anyone answer, color to pick your side, and days_per_move for a correspondence timer.
/chess play server: True
Challenge a random server instead - see Server vs server below.
/chess bullet
Instant bullet game, 1+0 by default (1+1 and 2+1 presets). Your private web link arrives immediately; a challenged opponent gets theirs by DM.
/chess timed time_control: 3+2
Real-time game with any minutes+increment clock, links delivered the same private way. The clock starts with White's first move.
/chess bot elo: 1500
Play the engine at 500-3190 Elo (below 1320 it plays a human-flawed shallow search). Add up to three teammates: anyone proposes a move, it plays once every teammate approves. No draws or undos against the engine; beating it pays its Elo ÷ 100 material to every teammate.

Playing

/chess move
Standard notation (Nf3, exd5, O-O, e8=Q, long form e2e4) with your legal moves suggested as you type. Add game when several run at once.
/chess listen on
Then just type moves as plain chat messages - they apply to the game you most recently moved in where it's your turn. off to stop.
/chess undo
Take back your own move within 10 seconds (not in clocked or engine games); past the window your opponent gets an Allow button. In server matches every undo is a request the other server may allow.
/chess draw · /chess forfeit
Offer or accept a draw; resign a game.

Server vs server

/chess server challenges enabled: True
Open your server to random challenges (Manage Server permission) and pick the channel they arrive in - each shows the challenging server's name with Accept and Deny buttons anyone may press.
/chess play server: True (Premium)
Challenge a random opted-in server. Up to three players per side join by the button that rides each board until the team fills; moves pass by simple majority (both of two, two of three). Each server sees the board in its own channel, always from its own side, and may have one server match running at a time (forfeit to close one out; unanswered challenges don't block a re-roll).
/chess server rematch
Rerun a finished match, colors swapped - tweak days_per_move if you like. The game-over Rematch button does the same with unchanged terms.
/chess server history
Your server's record: the top 10 most-played servers with win/loss/draw counts, or sort: recent for the last 10 matches.

Boards & pings

/chess board
Repost your latest board at the bottom of the channel, fetch a specific game, or send it to another channel.
/chess flip
A private peek at the board from the other side - only you see it.
/chess games · /chess mine
Games running in this channel; all your active games across the server.
/chess subscribe · /chess unsubscribe
Get @pinged when it's your turn.
/chess links (Premium)
Private links that open a live browser board for your side; sessions last an hour from first open.

Analysis & records

/chess analyze
Stockfish review of a finished game on an interactive page: graded moves in figurine notation, an eval bar, engine picks, and a what-if board that scores your alternative ideas.
/chess replay
Animated GIF of a game, or just the last_moves.
/chess openings · /chess history
A sunburst graph of your openings; your win/loss/draw record.
/chess export
PGN of one game or everything: True - imports into lichess or chess.com.

Premium

Discord Chess Premium
The free tier allows 3 games running at once, 12 new games and 1 engine review per day. Premium - purchased through Discord from the bot's profile or Store page - unlocks unlimited matches, unlimited analysis, cross-server play, and web boards for the whole server.

Skin shop

/chess shop view · buy · equip · skins
Browse and preview piece sets, buy them with material, wear one on every board you play, and check your balance. Material comes from captures (pawn 1 · knight/bishop 3 · rook 5 · queen 9) and from finishing games: win 15, loss or draw 10 - banked in the server you earned it in.
